The winter fades to nothingness, the coldness and the snow

While we cross the thawing rivers

Wattles flourish below.

The wind rises calmly, quietly whistling through

The great expanse of glory, the great expanse of blue.

Nature is a delicate essence, a spirit of fury and love

 See the outback’s growing fragility,

The smog choking skies above.

The wild whispers secrets to those who want to hear,

The sun smiles softly,

there is no time to fear.

The wild weaves a story

Forgotten by the world.

We shall respect nature’s glory

The complexity she beholds.

Nature is slowly withering;

Her lifeblood drained in river dams.

Our future heralds danger

And it’s anything but unseen.
