Ocean

The waves crashing across the sand
as the foam gathers up its clan
Fish calmly gliding under the sea
until the shark comes smiling with glee.
The wave runs towards the city
and devours it quickly.
No one survives.
The waves shine with pride
and slowly start to glide
back to the sea
to rest in peace.
Until the time comes again
To devour what’s left.
