Ocean decay

Calm
Gentle breezes
Whispers over the dark ocean
Floating objects above the water
Picnic remnants left behind
Everyone watching the same floating, flapping fabric pieces peeping out of the water
Sounds of whistling winds travel over the ocean
Trash swept in the sky then dumped in the ocean Splash
Voices screaming, running for our lives
Scared and trembling, The ocean is not giving up so easy
What has this come to? The ocean has done nothing to try to hurt us
So why are we trying to hurt it? You are killing the animals
Take the time to think about what you have done to the ocean
What have we done? Are we trying to kill the ocean?
I will tell you now YOU ARE. So, there is still time to take three, for the sea for you and me.
Start picking, pulling, taking the plastic out the animal’s home
