Running through the lush green gum trees, blowing in the silent wind,

breathing in the salty ocean air,

listening to the sweet hum of the colourful birds of paradise,

walking on a rocky gravel surface on the ocean side,

hearing the waves crash down onto the soft squishy sand,

hearing the crunching sound of the autumn leaves under my shoes is breathtaking  and so are the colours of the

leaves neon-yellow, fiery-red, vibrant-orange and barky-brown

the sparkle of raindrops are little glinting jewels,

the branches and leaves sway in protest to why I was tramping the earth,

the waves are like enormous mouths waiting to fill you with coldness,

the birds looking at me, jumping branch to branch to twig to twig,

leaves swirling and spiralling upwards around me,

the wind slamming into my face at an alarming rate otherwise it was calming and magnificent,

dolphins jumping up, up, up then diving back into the ocean then coming back to show off,

I hear barking on the beach, a dog is rolling, twisting and jumping at the waves,

my own dog barking back at the other dog jumping as well,

the shadows dancing around my feet.
