Orange trees

Orange trees don't go together and group

but their leaves are so green and clean like soap

they just stand there and smell like oranges

and good are their social media images

Their roots in the earth go cuddle together

so they won't get cold

and they'll never surrender

not even when they're old

oh, plants, so lovely they are

oh, us humans, dirtying their air

And while trees go black and burn to ash

we hurt the earth and plants with trash

difficult is our world, yet so simple

and it is large, but seems so little
