Oscillating Oceans

In my ocean, graceful creatures glisten and glide,
Tumbles of seaweed sway, shifting down the tide.
Dolphins leap a thousand metres high,
Fish swim in schools, dashing side to side.
Crystal-clear waters sparkle along the horizon,
A tranquil dream untouched.
Ripples glisten as the sunshine beckons,
Shards of light bursting, blinding, hiding…
Underwater meadows, fields and forests of kelp.
Sand dances and swirls in stormy seas,
Twisting and turning in the belligerent breeze.
Lucrative myths full of secrets, underwater castles bested by seekers.
Looming shadows sway to the side, unscared of the monsters that hide.
Fashioned from seaweed beds and coral pillows,
Soothing sounds from the ocean deep,
Waves splashing playfully,
Currents shifting like a race car,
Sunbaked sand as bright as the stars. This is my home.
