Our Dreadfully Damaged World

Have you ever heard of cruel coral bleaching?

Or bushfires, floods, or plastic pollution?

These are but some of the terrible downfalls we are reaching.

If we don’t do something, consequences will come creeping.

Every summer, in Australia, brutal bushfires rage,

Endangered animals like koalas, crying for help.

As flames are spreading, they’re stuck, trapped in a cage.

All a result of warnings we forbade.

Another colossal problem is deforestation,

Cutting down countless trees.

Carpenters and lumberjacks worsening the situation-

If we don’t change, trees won’t exist for our next generation.

This all began when Jair Bolsanaro came-

There’s no regeneration, this isn’t a game.

To solve this severe, inadequate issue we face,

People must recognise our world.

Pray to protect this precious place.
