Our Land

The Earth so round, so solid, we ground
The dirt, the rocks, the trees, we grow
The red-brown dirt under our feet
The unique world where we meet

The luscious water brings life to Earth
The veins of blue running in through our world
It pools in colours of blue, green and turquoise 
Oh holy water gives life to us all

The air we breathe, the song of the wind
Rushes through our hair and where the birds do sing
The beautiful air gives us the breath of life 
Air, soul air, you give life to us all 

The surge of fire rushes through our land
Burning and nourishing the land for our clans
Oh fearsome fire may you burn in your path
But restore everything to its once beauty

The elements around us give us life
From the feisty fires to our flowing rivers
From the air that we breathe to the mountains that quiver
We must love our land, and our land will love us
