Our Last Breath Of Green

We say our world is so vast,

Then how come we have destroyed it so fast?

We are chopping down trees at the speed of light—

Soon the animals won’t have a home in sight!

Deforestation is all because of US!

Animals are dying all because of US, it is all US!

We are oblivious that we depend on trees,

They help us breathe, if we don’t have them we can’t speak.

And you're telling me you're cutting them down?

You think the animals can’t hear a sound?

Imagine if your home was taken away,

Imagine if you didn’t have a place to stay,

What would you say?

They are screaming for help, and we are just letting them yelp.

We’re blocking our ears, not caring about their fears!

The world is slowly declining, and we’re sitting here whining—

Because we want our world to be shining, but it’s NOT!

If we keep ruining our world at this disgusting pace,

Our world will be an absolute awful disgrace!

And our world will be left with no human or animal face!
