Our Mother's Lament

Ignorant humans polluting the Earth 

Wailing silently, the earth cries in fear 

As her children are slowly killing her 

Mother Nature is unheard as she screams 

Alone in the universe she will wait 

For someone who will stand up for her 

She will be waiting for eternity 

Many humans have tried but all failed 

Outnumbered by people who do not care 

She cries out in her dying state for help 

Though down in her heart she knows it’s pointless 

She can’t understand the huge betrayal 

For the ones that she holds dear poison her 

We need to help our beautiful mother.
