Amidst the azure depths where l once glided free,

A creature of the sea, where life's a symphony.

But now I'm entangled in a web of despair,

A plastic nightmare, a burden I must bear.

My flippers once danced, now they falter and flail,

Caught in this grip, like a twisted, plastic jail.

These synthetic strands, like serpents, they coil,

Constricting my dreams, my freedom they spoil.

Plastic fingers clutch, like a cruel puppeteer,

My world in their grip, a puppet of fear.

The ocean's embrace has turned cold and strange,

As I gasp for breath in this toxic exchange.

Beneath waves of sorrow, I'm trapped in my shell,

As plastic invaders turn paradise into helI.

My home, once pristine, is now a graveyard for me,

I mourn for the oceans, for what used to be.

ln this plastic prison, like a phantom's cruel shroud,

I'm a ghost of the sea, in this sorrowful crowd.

My heart's a shipwreck, my soul's in despair,

Entangled in plastic, it's more than l can bear.
