Pollution in the ocean

The deep blue depths where turtles glide,
Their ancient paths with grace abide.
But plastic tears the world apart,
A floating snare, a toxic dart.
Beneath the waves, they choke and tangle,
In ghostly nets where dangers strangle.
Yet hope persists in hearts and hands,
To cleanse the seas, and protect their lands.
