Mini Princess Tiana,
I was for a week,
But not like princesses from the Greeks,

My precious plastic twin,
Was always under my chin,
Protecting me from dangerous nightmares, tears, the real world – she did.
I was only a little seven-year-old kid,
From tucking her in at night to saving her a seat at dinner,
I felt happier than a prize winner.

When I met a life-size replica of my doll,
I felt like my legs were about to collapse and fall,
Feeling like she personally knew me,
I wondered if this is what it would be like if I was queen bee,
She told me I looked beautiful yet I looked the same as her,
Nothing from that day will ever be a blur,
That whole trip, the whole experience,
Was one of the most precious memories I have.
And it's all because a doll like no other,
My Princess Tiana.
