Recovery

Burnt tree trunks, little foul crunch.

Dark as dirt, it doesn’t actually hurt.

Trees calm like koalas, wind singing choirs. Plants becoming nicer.

And thankfully no more fires. 

Trees growing higher… higher.

Isn't that what we desire, no more fire?
