I was young, ignorant, unsuspecting, oblivious

I still remember that day, the hopelessness

I was joyful, playing, everything was fine

Then came Man that ended the good times

I’m a Red Panda luckily not a dead panda

I felt an eerie earthquake under my four feet

Little did I know it was the rumble of Man’s fleet

I was frozen by fear

The monsters getting closer so close so near

I’m a Red Panda luckily not a dead panda

Man maliciously cut down a tree

I prayed to disappear so they couldn’t see me

In Man's eyes a corrupt gleam

I wanted to be hidden from Man’s scheme

I’m a Red Panda luckily not a dead panda

Man closed in

Chance of escape seemed slim

I scrambled and managed to get away

But man was here to stay; I was free

But not all of them were as lucky as me
