Regeneration

Seedlings sprout, flowers blossom

Seeing a new home, for a tiny little possum,

Flowers as precious as Sapphires, Emeralds, and the amazing blue.

Sit back and ponder… to see the regeneration growing new,

The eco-community coming back strong

Luscious green trees are where they belong,

Hope dances near blossoms by a nearby pond

Winning the fight to recovery, what a way to respond,

Rustling of the leaf litter as a possum run 

Scuttling away towards the nearby sun,

No more ashes, no more fire 

I've said,  “adios adios adios.”
