Fast as a snake the tree slithers higher

Sturdy as an elephant this tree is strong

This great tree is unaffected by fire

It's beautiful, it makes you want to shout

The leaves are as beautiful as a fern

This tree lives for floods and lives through drought

Its mysterious branches twist and turn

Its glimmering leaves glisten with dew

Its deep roots sturdied the trunk as it grew
