Saturday afternoons

At home playing with my fake sword
My mind is telling me I'm so bored
My toys too high reach
So maybe I can go to the beach
Running through the golden sand
Wind strokes my hair as I gracefully dance
Gliding through the warm stunning beach
My teeth crunch on a juicy summer peach
I squint at the sizzling glistening sun
While feeling like I'm the only one
Through the forest I ride my bike
Red gums Eucalyptus scents as I carefully hike
Wandering, awakened through the Lilly Pilly trees
Tickling my cheek, the gentle breeze
I smell waffling wattle and saffron yellow flowers
In blissful surroundings, I could sit here for hours
