Our lives wasted on suffering, suffering from heat

Lack of water, water, water

Animals taking us, one by one we go down.

Drought eating us away one by one we go down.

Eventually to us the world has ended.

The sun’s warmth never to be felt again.

The nourishment of water would never splash on us once more

I can only think back, never to the future.

As I struggle to go on.

The water the sun all little things, yet they controlled our survival

Our last bit of hope.

Our last chance.
