I float, I sink, I hit the white crystal sand.
I float; I hide myself amongst the seaweed.
Tossed from north to south, east to west.
Insignificant, ignored, incredibly isolated and long to be admired.

Big, beautiful, bubbling sea creatures hover above me.
I Whimper and whine but don’t get heard.
Waves push me to an unknown place.

I stop making footprints on the sand.
Pondering.
The tiny fragment, from the heart of the sea.
A ridged, corrugated, rare, unique fan shell.

Abandoned by tempestuous sea,
Is mine to keep forever.

Placed lovingly with my own kind
I’m not ignored, not isolated; I’m admired and loved.
