Shimmering sun

Winter floods through & drowns the land 

Flowers with no hope of survival fill up like a bathtub 

Plants sinking into the earth with no sun to be seen 

The clouds break and drift away in the sky 

Rainbows appear while the rain slowly comes to a stop 

Spring rolls around, bringing life back to nature

Trees sprouting, flowers blooming 

Everything that was beautiful is once again 

Shimmering in the warm spring sun 

Not a weed in sight 

No dying sprouts holding on for dear life by the roots 

Nothing out of place 

It all belongs.
