Sikh Children Day’s Trophy

Hundreds of people waiting,
There were only three trophies left.
Stress was covering everyone.
There, the third position trophy was gone.
Now there’s only first and second position left.
They were calling the second position out,
“Sukhman Kaur” that was me, I’m Sukhman.
I got up and received my trophy.
My face was red like a ruby ring because
I was so nervous in front of all those people. There in my hands was a
Maroon, marvellous, magical and magnetic trophy.
Since 4 Oct 2015 it has always been in my house.
Whenever I see it I see victory and to work harder for better.
Victory had come to me.
