Soaring Through The Sky

Its edges are as curved as a soccer ball
It is as small as a notepad
As smooth as butter
As dark blue as the nighttime sky
Even though its small, it obtains valuable information
As soon as I open it, I can travel anyplace, anytime
Each stamp inside of it tells a valuable, unique story
I don't use it often, but when I do i'm grateful I have it
If you try to replicate it, you will fail
