Song of the sea

The hungry waves crash down on the diamond beach shore
I stare into a creature, a being far more intelligent than I would ever be
She washes over me and swirls her form around my dazzled body
Calm but wild
dazzling but crushing
beautiful but dangerous
Where the domain of the clouds touch her a flock of birds, no a swarm of flying foxes twist and turn in the vivid colours of sundown
The salty scent of sea explodes in my nose and fills me with the wonders of the sea
She dances over my head and I know,
She is a being far bigger than me
She is so powerful, mighty and free
She can withstand anything, nothing she can't beat
This is the ocean
A true sight to see
