Sour sobs

The beauty of nature,
Dancing on valleys in the winter chill,
Can simply trick one for their beauty,
Pretending to be something they’re not,

The beauty of nature,
Flashes bold yellow in front of my eyes,
Petals creeping over the stem,
Cheerful, carefree, colourful,

The beauty of nature,
Surprising survivors,
Never letting go like an eagle stalking its prey,
leaving their past to create new life  

The beauty of nature,
As sweet as honey,
As sour as betrayal,                
Sour sobs
