Spring time

The flowers swayed from side to side,

Every petal was a different colour and the stems all different sizes.

Red, orange, yellow, blue, don’t forget violet too.

The sun was smiling, big and bold

Shining light just like gold.

The soft, damp grass was shimmering in the sunshine

The bright blue, crystal coloured lake was glistening in the moonlight.

The animals were waking from their autumn and winter dreams

Opening their eyes to a fresh colour of green.
