Staring at My Watch

I felt the minutes ticking past,
The hours going by,
While I sat there looking at my watch.
As blue as the sea, as shiny as a star,
I sit there looking and staring,
Nothing else goes through my mind.
Day and night, I sit there not blinking,
doing nothing,
but staring at my watch
