In come the waves, tumbling through

The shells, the rocks and the starfish too.

Rock pools form, and algae swims,

Rain clouds dance and start to spin.

The rain pours down, loud and fast,

The thunder rumbles, and the wind blows past.

The ocean is rough, sloshing about,

The waves crash fiercely, a roaring shout.

Under the water, seaweed screams,

A haunting chorus, it’s like a bad dream.

The storm starts to calm, but the beach is a mess.

A whale is beached and he’s starting to stress.

People came down to help this whale out,

But as time goes by, he starts to freak out.

Finally, the whale is free,

Swimming out, for all to see.

His tail a splash, joyful cheer,

A graceful giant, free and clear.
