Sunshine

You shine so bright, but move on at night
You rise in the morning to all the birds singing
And to my delight, you stay around to give us light
In the middle of the day when you’re strong and proud, all the little kids are laying on the ground
When you are shining everyone is smiling
But when dark clouds cover you, everyone is in a bit of a mood
You’re blazing like a flaming fire
But it’s okay because we lay around and watch your rays shoot to the ground
At the end of the day you start to go down
But I always wonder how far down
Soon enough the day is over
But I never knew something coming to an end could look so beautiful
