Lake as calm as a sleeping sloth
Splish splash splish splash
In the water, a quackle of ducks
Finding food for their young

Coming down to the lake
Running down a hill
Skipping along the concrete path
To reach the swinging rope

Getting ready to jump off the rope
Climbing up the spiky ledge
Taking one final leap

To release all my worries
Finally calm, finally free
As if nothing in the world

Mattered to me
But my life in the water
Like a fish finally let into the ocean
From its prison in a tree
