A dugong, native to the Australian coast,
Looks like a whale crossed with a ghost.
These dugongs are known as the cows of sea,
And they are the cousins of the manatee.

Now they are on they are endangered,
Saving the dugong from extinction must be considered.
They’ve been living for over 30 million years,
And if we don’t save the dugongs, we’ll be in tears.

Pollution is wiping out the dugong habitat,
This is simply not the time to have a chitchat.
When we have no where to dump pollution,
Dumping it in the sea would prove humans are a corruption.

Human progression is wiping out their habitat and food,
They’re getting killed by propellers and our careless attitudes.
Careless fishing is obviously a huge problem too.
And that’s not probably a surprise to you.

If we don’t take action, it’ll be too late
And this is an action that the humans can not negate.
So why sit back and talk instead of take action,
Not because you’re forced to, do it out of compassion.
