Talking Trees

Feeling, listening, unnoticed,

Calm, luscious, humming,

Trees, help us breathe,

They help us see,

How incredible this world is,

Creations, make the nations,

Enemies of gas stations,

Why don’t you just face it,

We just cut them down,

Make the oxygen drown,

We're killing the world fast,

They were swaying in the breeze,

Then the fires are swooping up past their knees,

And we're doing so little to keep them alive,

To let them thrive,

So humans,

Keep our planet the way it was, let’s restore it, 

And dear our natural world,

I’m sorry because we are careless,

And we are selfish.
