Teddy

Teddy was blue,
Teddy was soft and fluffy.
I got it when I was a baby
Slept with it every night
Took it everywhere I went
Played with it every day
Teddy had a strong smell of lavender
With a distinct smell of a baby
My godmother gave it to me
When I thought I lost it, I felt I had disappointed her
I eventually found it
I felt over the moon.
Now it's hidden in the back of my cupboard.
Whenever I spot it
Amazing memories come back instantly
