A constant cycle of sadness and gladness
As we wave goodbye a place in my heart burns

Each time you bring me glee
I see you being pulled out of the cage

The knowing that soon you will be mine,
I wait hours, days, weeks and some months
Watching the clock and date tick by all the time.

The mystery of who, what and when kept me going
Distraction was like medication
The co-supporter of life was knowing of all
