The Autumn Tree

Lifeless leaves fall out of the air.

Leaves pile up with despair.

Branches unclothed of their coat,

The leaves create a small-sized moat.

Darkness fills the sky above the tree.

I shiver from the night's cold breeze.

Cold winds blow through the air.

Branches sway with the wind.

Years and years go by.

The tree gets weaker and weaker

Until it finally gets knocked over.

The stars shine so bright

Over the tree.

The black in the sky like a void.

The trees move like an animation.

Mother Nature's amazing creation.

A seed is planted.

A tree grows that's slightly slanted.

The branches sway, singing;

A completely new beginning.
