The Beast Has Arisen

The beast has arisen 

The beast                                                       (has come)

There's no place to go                           (no place to run)

As big as my heart

As big as my Country 

It's here to stay                                       (it's here for us)

Silence fills the land 

Until it swallows us with darkness

The blaze of anger grows 

As the ember glides around 

The scorching heat of hunger 

The devouring beast of death

The rainbow covers our sky 

The animals arise from darkness

And come to the start again

The leaves glide as trees start fresh

And we can rest again.
