The Bees' Trees

The bumble bee rests on a branch of a tree.
After a long day of work collecting the honey,
from the nectar of a flower that sways free.
Admiring the hive that hangs so beautifully,
watching the colony of bees work so fruitfully.
The bees humming around the tree in such symphony,
collecting the honey so cheerfully.
The tree is the perfect home for a busy bee,
the hive hanging from the tree so perfectly.
The old tree stands with its hive so majestically,
The tree’s leaves are as green as a lime,
The tree has been there as long as time,
nature together sharing is so sublime.
My breath is taken away with this very last rhyme.
