The Blue Jacaranda Tree

Everyday a violet shadow swarms me, 

Every day I look up, 

I see the magical, majestic Blue Jacaranda   

Looking, searching, watching, 

But as the days go by, 

She relives every moment,  

Soaking in the warmth that lies upon her, 

Hearing brief stories as children scramble away, 

Swaying with the light breath, 

Her beauty and life are fading, 

But the memories that lie in her precious violet leaves, will never fade away.
