It was the first day, first moment I saw you.
Your sterling silver shine lit up the room,
You were heavy, cold and smelt like lemon zest,
From a freshly grown orchid.
They placed you on my wrist and “CLIP”
I fell in love with you.

Then came the first few charms,
Books for study,
Owl for wise
And flowers for my beauty,
These were all given by my parents.
I took you all around the world and then you became an International bracelet.
That’s when I lost you, my whole world started to crumble.
I thought you were overseas but you were just sitting there at my grandmas house, I was relieved.

Throughout the years you became full and small, that’s when I got given a new one by my best friend on my birthday.
