The Circus

I went to the one and only circus one day.
I thought we would sit on seats, not hay.

Once I saw the incredible acrobats,
But then out came the huge wild cats.

Finally, I saw my favorite thing which is a clown,
But it just messed around, so everybody had a frown.

Even though it was in the morning at dawn,
I couldn’t believe my mum bought me some popcorn.

Next she spoiled me with fairy floss,
And in my head I felt like a boss.

I saw the nitro circus on their motorbikes,
And I knew everybody would give them likes.

I was getting so excited with the show,
But when I saw the tightropes hung too low.

I was just about having the limits of fun,
But I realised it was already done…
