The crow as careful as
a thief in the night, flew
silently through the sky.

Through a million clouds
the crow made it, the
charcoaled perch it sits atop.

Staring down from above,
the king of birds
rattles with laughter.

Every other animal
just watching by, as
the dark night came.

The lightning danced across the sky,
then the crow was no more
as he said his goodbyes.
