The Deep Blue

The blue of the sea and sky,

shimmers as the sun sets.

Waves jump high into the air,

only to fall back down into the deep blue.

Fish migrate gleefully from one sea to another.

The calm ocean, we are taken aback by its many wonders.

Wake up to reality.

This is our actuality.

Our oceans are polluted by us.

Marine animals getting killed, corals becoming bleached.

Is this our gift to the future?

A deep blue nothing.
