The destruction

With every leaf that falls

Forming an indestructible wall

Oxygen is created into the air,

As the forest tries to repair.

The rainforest is slowly disintegrating

Getting chopped down for needs,

And whilst we are all debating,

We need to plant more seeds.

Trees help us with medicines when we are ill,

Why do we still chop them to the ground?

Think about all those poor creatures we kill

Petrifying them with the sound.

Where will the birds nest?

How will the animals hide from man?

If there’s nowhere left for them to fly to,

Nowhere safe from human hand?

Killing with these actions

Robbing beauty from the Earth,

The forests that teem with magic

The diversity that gives our planet worth.
