The Earth's Fears

Raindrops, the sky's tears

thunder roars the world fears

that one day shall bring the end turn

Mother Nature's rule upend

Stars, the night's eyes

watch as the earth dies

watch as mankind remains 

oblivious without shame

Oceans, the earth's blood

once blue, now mud

its brethren long gone

vanquished in the light of dawn

Sunlight, the world smiles

tries to face its endless trials

creatures scurry left and right

trying to win this hopeless fight

Mankind, the world's bane

struts, without restrain

proud, without a clue

the earth has feelings too
