Summer, when the sun shines bright

Its ray of light a butter yellow

When the day is longer than night

The green grass a soft mellow

Autumn, when the leaves fall down

Gently tickling the ground

Red to yellow to brown

Leaf piles all around

Winter, the coldest season of all

When the wind blows hard

And the snow starts to fall

Icy sculptures in every yard

Spring, when flowers bloom

Baby animals are born

It leaves behind no gloom

That's a promise sworn
