The Environment

It once was a fresh land, 

We all stood hand in hand, 

Hoping that we could fix our mistakes, 

But rubbish now fills our lakes, 

Flood hurricane and bushfire, 

Our landfill is rising higher higher, 

Forests are where most animals start to breed, 

But all the trees are gone because of our greed, 

There must be something we can do, 

But do you still care about the things around you? 

People are amazed we’re still alive, 

Those who wonder how we’ve survived.
