Gaia, Mother Earth, destroyed.

The ‘one hit wonder’ of humanity.

A paradise at its breaking point.

Crushed into pieces by those who had once crowed it their wonderland.

A raging dystopia,

left to dissolve,

to be swallowed by the shallowness of civilisation.

Empty, poor, isolated,

deserted, stranded to survive off nothing.

Empty rivers like battle scars,

running so deep, there are no tears left to cry.

A wilted tree.

Plains of wilted trees.

Nothing left to give,

Its legacy forever broken.

Where are those that claim they can fix society when society is unfixable?

Where are those that will save us when environments are dying and crippled?

Where are they when they are needed the most?
