The Fire Awakens

Started off a warm sunny day every kid went out to play

Whole day was sunny and calm but soon, animals felt alarmed

Wind picks up cows are running

The animals signal that the fire is coming

Creek beds full with cars and kangaroos

Quick come down the fire is running

Fire is red clean fire is blue

It’s spreading quickly what do I do

The glowing flames dance in the wind

Trees and leaves there all singed 

Fire brigade fight sky as dark as night

Ash filled the air trees burned bare

All was green now turned black

Will we ever get our home back

Animals calm return to the farm

Kangaroos go back home to the outback

Green returns plants are back

Country is normal a perfect outback

I hope you listened to each word I said

Because if you're not careful, you might just make red
