delicately balanced on
Piscean tail.
Cleverly crafted
to flip and slip
upon lifting, it
fixes me with a
steady gaze.
That supercilious smirk
playing on the mouth
reminds me of
your beginning smile
at a shared amusement
or moment of contrition.
Your talisman
simple, ingenious
left to me
to remember loving you.
