The Forest of Dreams

The sweet scent of lavender fills the air
The soft, silky leaves of a clover
The smooth trunk of a magnolia tree
A beautiful forest hidden amongst the darkest places on Earth

Animals scurry here and there
You hear squeals and chirps everywhere
Ribbit from a frog, and growling from a wolf
Tranquillity disturbed by scuttling mice and squirrels

Splash! Whoosh! The sounds of water
A gentle caressing whisper from the swaying oak trees
The whistling wind howls with laughter
A small spark lights up the air

Caverns hidden behind vines
Mountains that reach beyond the sky
Coastlines that never end
Deserts that reach new lengths

Glistening waterfalls
Delicate petals that unfurl like a silken tapestry
Animal sounds that you hear for miles
